I Quit Coffee and Drank Matcha for 30 Days: Here’s What Happened to My Body

I used to be a huge Coffee Addict. One cup in the morning, one in the afternoon. If I missed a day, I’d get a migraine. But the problem was… by 3 PM, I’d start getting “Palpitations”, “Shaky hands”, and “Insomnia” at night. Plus, once the caffeine wore off (Caffeine Crash), my body would shut down like a dead battery.

So I decided to take the Challenge: Quit coffee cold turkey and drink matcha for 30 days. And the results were pretty exciting.

Week 1: Hell Week (Withdrawal)

The first 3 days were torture! Caffeine Withdrawal hit me hard. Throbbing headaches, drowsy all day. Even though I drank matcha, the “Kick” wasn’t like coffee. Coffee is like a slap in the face to wake you up. Matcha is like a gentle shoulder massage. I had to use immense willpower not to walk into Starbucks.

Week 2: Seeing the Light (The Calm Focus)

Week 4: Skin and Sleep

  • Morning: Coffee (For the joy of it).
  • Afternoon: Matcha (To maintain energy without messing up my sleep).
